From Idea to Success
At Prionics, our R&D group works in close cooperation with our customers and leading research institutes around the world to develop new diagnostic solutions. In doing so, we are able to focus product innovation and development on the specific needs of our customers and generate a sustainable pipeline of diagnostic products.
Developing new diagnostic solutions for our customers is only one aspect of our R&D efforts. Another major aspect is our continuous work on existing solutions to expand them to new applications.
R&D Focus
Prionics operates a bio safety laboratory in Zurich, one of the largest P3 facilities in Europe. This facility, together with our foundation in the science of diagnostic tests, reinforces our capabilities and enables Prionics to maintain hands-on experience with a wide range of pathogens.
Our focus arises from our international clientele and their unique diagnostic issues that challenge us to continuously improve and expand our portfolio. A large number of our products were developed in our R&D facilities in Zurich (Switzerland) and Lelystad (The Netherlands) and are now available on the market.
