Prionics enters strategic partnership with Ingenasa
Zurich, December 3, 2008 – Prionics, a world leader in farm animal diagnostics, has entered into a strategic partnership with the Spanish company Ingenasa to make their innovative farm animal diagnostic solutions available to global markets. The collaboration will include distribution, product development and production. Through this partnership, Prionics' and Ingenasa’s customers will profit from an expanded portfolio of proven products.
Prionics and Ingenasa have agreed to intensify their cooperation in global distribution and join efforts to develop and produce their diagnostic products. The intensified partnership between Prionics and Ingenasa is built on a longstanding cooperation between the two companies. Ingenasa, based in Madrid, Spain, distributes its products in selected European countries and has been looking for a partner company with a worldwide distribution network. “The Ingenasa products are diagnostic solutions that have proven their usefulness on the market,” says Dr. Markus Moser, CEO of Prionics. “We are excited at the prospect of making these products available world-wide.”
Joint product development and marketing
Prionics and Ingenasa have now agreed to also join efforts to develop new diagnostic solutions. “We see great potential in our strategic partnership with Prionics,” says Dr. Carmen Vela, President of Ingenasa. “Our joint product development will strengthen our ability to bring new products to our customers.”
