TypiFix™
TypiFix™ offers a combined system of conventional ear tagging with a simultaneous tissue sampling technology. Using Typifix ear tags, animals are identified and their tissue samples are automatically collected and conserved easily in TypiFix™ sample containers. Alternatively, TypiFix™ tissue sampling can be carried out without having to affix an ear tag to an animal.
TypiFix™ tissue sampling – the advantages over blood or hair follicular sampling:

A further advantage of the TypiFix™ system of diagnostic ear tags is the availability of several complete lab systems for high and low throughput-automated sample processing. Following sample processing, DNA-separation, DNA analysis or protein and antibody detection can be performed.
